Chili Contest Social Event
Saturday, January 18th 2025
Starts at = 4:00pm
As requested by MEMBERS last year, we are having a Chili Contest Social!
Come take a break from the holidays and join your Halloween friends for a delicious chili contest social!! Saturday, January 18th at 4:00 pm!
Red or white is doesn't matter, we will have small sample bowls for everyone to taste each entered chili and vote for their favorite and we will have regular size bowls to enjoy your favorite! Don't want to bring chili? Bring a side or some cinnamon rolls! Prize package for 1st Place will include an Amazon Gift Card!
Mike & I will be providing mix in's like sour cream, cheese, jalapenos, etc. Along with fresh popped popcorn. Mike is also planning on creating a chili entry.
So, join us for this fun social and catch up with your Halloween friends! Bring pictures of your 2024 Halloween season, share ideas and see what may be upcoming for the club! BYOB. Hope to see you there!

2025 Cinco de' Mayo & May the 4th be with you Annual Celebration
Saturday, May 3rd
6:00pm to Midnight!
***THIS EVENT IS CANCELLED DUE TO # OF ATTENDANCE***
We will be having the famous "Nacho Bar" everyone loves!
With that being said PLEASE either post a comment on the event page or reply to this email stating what "Nacho" item you will be bringing.
Sides and Deserts are also welcome if we have all the basic Nacho items met, i.e. chips, shredded or cheese sauce, tomatoes, jalapenos, onions, black or refried beans and guacamole covered.
So PLEASE check the LIST!
We will also have the Firepit a blazing for Shenanigans after dinner!
BYOB and Please bring your lawn/bag CHAIRS!!
Mike and I will be providing the seasoned taco ground beef and sour cream .
PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU ARE PLANNING ON ATTENDING AND HOW MANY ARE IN YOUR PARTY!

Pre-Halloween Party
FRIDAY, October 3rd 2025
Starts at 7:00pm to Midnight!
The Pre-Halloween Party on Friday, October 3rd will be FEATURING 2 Contests!
One being a Pumpkin Carving Contest and the other will be a Halloween Themed Side Dish or Appetizer Contest.
Pumpkin Carving Contest:
Pumpkins must be carved at least a little bit and luminated from the inside. These must be already completed and ready to show at the event.
Halloween Themed Side Dish or Appetizer Contest:
Must be presented or made in a Halloween Themed way. Let loose your Creative & Creepy Culinary skills and make a dish or platter to die for!
We will be grilling Hamburgers and Hot Dogs for the main food item to go with the sides and appetizers.
Deserts are always welcome but will NOT be a part of the food contest.
We will have both Firepits a blazing.
Bring your own beverages, coolers welcome.
Don’t forget your bag chairs and drinks!
"Campfire" at Roca Scary Farm
Saturday, October 25th 2025
5:00pm to 9:00pm
We have rented Campfire area #13 and will have the firepit from 5:00pm until 9:00pm.
You MUST purchase an admission ticket to enter the Farm.
We will be providing hot dogs and smores items!
We can have up to 25 people at the firepit.

2024 Schedule
Club Event- Class-How to Sculpt, Mold, Cast & Airbrush
Saturday April 20th 2024
Starts at = 4:00pm
So it has been decided!
The April 20th Club Event will be a Class - How to Sculpt, Mold, Cast and Airbrush and where to get Supplies with a Pot Luck Dinner and Firepit Shenanigans afterwards for those who would like to stay and socialize.
Location: Mike & Tracy’s House, let us know below If you are planning on attending this event via Facebook or Email!
Class will start at 4:00pm, Dinner at 6:30pm and Firepit afterwards.
At the event I will be going over step by step instructions, information & tips on how to sculpt, mold, cast, and airbrush, what you will need and where to get it. I will be showing examples of the clays, tools, items you will need and discuss techniques, tips and where to find these. This will include Examples, Video clips and pictures. Attendee's will NOT be sculpting and creating any creatures in this class, but will get the chance to experiment hands on with different clay, tools and more. This class is to give you all the information to get you started and with knowledge of how to achieve the look you want in your creature, where to get your supplies and to know what supplies & tools you will choose are best for you. If enough members are interested after this class a sculpting make n take will be created and attendee's will use all the information learned here to that event.
If you are interested in learning how to do the above, don’t miss this class!
Bring a Notebook for taking Notes and BYOB for the Firepit Shenanigans.
I will be providing a booklet with printed information for you to take home with you.
Closer to the event I will create a post in the Club Facebook Group so that attending members can post what food items they will be bringing to the pot luck for the dinner.
Cinco de Mayo and May the 4th be with you Celebration Social

Make n' Take Starts at = 4:00pm, Nacho Bar/Dinner Starts at =6:30pm
Location will be at Tracy & Mikes House in the Backyard.

Food = we will be having a Nacho Bar! We ask those who are attending this Event to bring a "Nacho Bar Food Item".
There is a post on our Facebook Club Group where everyone can post what they are Nacho Bar Food Items they are bringing so we will have a variety of items.
What will be happening at this event besides the Nacho Bar?
A Make n Take:
Aging props.
This technique can also be used on walls, FX make up, basically anything.
I will be supplying a piece of Styrofoam for everyone attending, you are more than welcome to cut it into a tombstone or another shape if desired. I will be showing you different aging, rusting and toxic waste aging techniques that you will get to put onto your Styrofoam to learn these techniques hands on using latex & acrylic paints and other added mediums. Have a prop, tombstone or other item already you would like to put this on? Feel free to bring it with you!
I will get all the supplies needed for this make n take, I am not sure yet what the total will be, so if you participate please make a Donation to the club to help cover my cost of supplies.
After the Make n' Take kicks off the event we will have the Nacho Bar, socializing and firepit shenanigans for sure!

Join us for our July Social with How to Create Foam Tombstones Demo by Brad Moul!
We will be grilling Burgers and having a Pot Luck Dinner at 6pm!
Following the Dinner will be the "How to Create Foam Tombstones Demo taught by Brad Moul!
Brad will be teaching the steps to design, create, decorate and paint self standing realistic foam tombstones and will be bringing examples of the steps to see in person.
And yes, these will stand up to the Nebraska winds and not fall over.
After the Demo we will have the Firepit Blazing with the usual shenanigans and socializing!
So come join us for a Frightfully Fun Evening!

We will be going to 2024 Kreepfest!
It is FREE to attend!
Hotel information will be posted soon for members who would like to go and stay at the same hotel together!

2023 Social Event/BBQ

The Twisted FX Haunt Club 2023 Social Event/BBQ has been rescheduled to October 7th! Starting at 5:30pm! Members must RSVP for this event as it will include smoked pulled pork, potato salad, pop and water. Everyone 21 and older are allowed to bring a cooler and adult beverages. We will be having 3 Events, Corpsed Skull, Spider Egg Sack and a Prop Challenge! Guests must bring a few items for these events and I will provide the rest. The firepit will be blazing and smores will be created! Gifts, prizes and more!
